River Winterwalk

With the winter holiday fast approaching, I was beginning to worry if we would see snow in the Four
Corners. Low and behold the next morning as I opened the blinds, a world of sparkling white greeted me. I grabbed my camera and headed to my favorite walking spot: The Riverwalk.  When I first moved into town I talked about it here.  Now, with the first layer of snow, the path has completely transformed. The seasons have a magical way of constantly redecorating the earth. I
only saw two humans, but plenty of ducks, geese, and deer. I hear that bald eagles can be spotted at the river during the winter, if you're very lucky. I'm betting on it...

  7. Amazing photos, all of them, but what I can't get over is the color of the sky. Merde. I don't think we will be seeing this here again until late July... This almost makes me feel like moving to the 14 Corners! :-) Joyeux Noël to you and Dori! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

    1. Happy Holidays French Girl to you and yours!xx So you're telling me that you will be in the '14' Corners (which, made me laugh so hard) before July? The sky is blue like Nice here but the air and the clouds are different. I will never forget one of my most fantastic scenery moments was from the top of Eze(near Nice). I was next to a yacca and cactus plant while looking over the Med. The expansion of the blue sky and water was really something... That scene is tattooed in my brain.
